# Manage and revoke connections

> Review your AI assistant connections in Reyda, see when they were last used, revoke access, and fix common connection problems.

**See and control every assistant connected to your Reyda account** under **Settings → Integrations → AI assistants**. You see and revoke only your own connections; nobody else can revoke them for you.

## See your connections

Each assistant has a card. A connected assistant shows **Connected**, the number of **Read permissions granted**, and two buttons: **Manage connection** and **Setup guide**. Every other AI app you connect gets its own card, with its name marked as unverified.

## Connection details

**You see the result as soon as you connect.** When you come back to Reyda after approving access, the setup guide is replaced by the connection details and a notice confirms the assistant is connected. To open them later, click **Manage connection**.

For each connection you see:

* **Environment**: the Reyda environment it reads from.
* **Connected**: when you approved access.
* **Last used**: when the assistant last read from Reyda. **Never** means it hasn't asked Reyda anything yet.
* The read permissions you approved.

## Revoke access

**1. On the assistant's card, click **Manage connection****

**2. Click **Revoke access****

The assistant stops reading your Reyda data straight away. There's no extra confirmation step, and if revoking fails you can click **Revoke access** again.

**3. Remove Reyda in your assistant too (optional)**

This tidies up Claude, ChatGPT or your app. Removing it there doesn't necessarily revoke it in Reyda, so always revoke in Reyda.

## More than one connection for an assistant

Each time you approve access again, Reyda creates a new connection, so you may see several under one assistant. Revoke any you no longer use.

## When access stops on its own

**Access renews itself while you use it.** It stops if the assistant doesn't use Reyda for a long time, your account is deactivated, or you leave the organization. Connect again to continue.

## Troubleshooting

> [accordion] I can't see the AI assistants tab
>
> **The tab appears where AI assistants are available for your Reyda environment.** If it's missing, email [support@reyda.ai](mailto:support@reyda.ai). If the tab shows an error, click **Retry**.

> [accordion] The assistant says it has no Reyda tools
>
> **Turn Reyda on in the chat.** In Claude, use the **Search and tools** menu; in ChatGPT, the apps or tools menu.
>
> If it's on, check the assistant's card in Reyda shows **Connected**. If not, or if you revoked it, connect again from the [Claude](https://docs.reyda.ai/integrations/mcp/connect-claude.md) or [ChatGPT](https://docs.reyda.ai/integrations/mcp/connect-chatgpt.md) setup page.

> [accordion] Reyda says the connection request is unavailable or expired
>
> **Start again from your assistant.** Each request works once and only for a short time, so a request left open, or opened twice, stops working.

> [accordion] The setup guide says no connection was found yet
>
> **Finish approving in Reyda.** Connecting in the assistant alone doesn't create the connection: click **Allow read access** on **Connect your AI assistant**, then click **Check connection** again.

> [accordion] It can't find or read a document I can see in Reyda
>
> **The assistant reads the text Reyda has already prepared.** If a document is still being processed, the assistant reports that rather than reading it. Try again once it's ready in Reyda. Reading never starts processing or uses credits.
>
> Also check the assistant is connected to the same organization you're looking at in Reyda (see the next question).

> [accordion] It's connected to the wrong organization or account
>
> **The assistant reads from the account and organization shown when you approved.** To change it, click **Revoke access** under **Manage connection**, sign in to Reyda with the right account and organization, then connect again from your assistant. You may need to disconnect Reyda in the assistant first so it asks you to sign in again.

> [accordion] It says a paid plan is needed
>
> **Your connection is still in place.** The assistant can read data while your organization has an active paid Reyda plan or AI assistant access enabled by Reyda. Ask an organization owner to manage the plan in Reyda. Once it's active, the same connection works again; you don't need to reconnect. See [Plans and credits](https://docs.reyda.ai/account/plans-and-credits.md).

> [accordion] The assistant keeps asking me to reconnect
>
> **Connect again and it carries on.** Access lapses if the assistant hasn't used Reyda for a long time, or after you revoke it. For apps you set up yourself, the app must renew its sign-in one request at a time; see [Connection details](https://docs.reyda.ai/integrations/mcp/tools.md#connection-details).

> [accordion] Another app asks for a client ID or won't sign in
>
> **Leave the client ID and secret empty.** Compatible apps register themselves with Reyda. If your app can't, email [support@reyda.ai](mailto:support@reyda.ai) with the app's name. See [Other AI apps](https://docs.reyda.ai/integrations/mcp/other-clients.md).
